What is ILP?

As per Wiki :

Inner Line Permit is an official travel document issued by the Government of India to allow inward travel of an Indian citizen into a protected/restricted area for a limited period. It is obligatory for Indian citizens from outside those states to obtain permit for entering into the protected state. The document is an effort by the Government to regulate movement to certain areas located near the international border of India.

What do you think ILP is a must in Manipur ? What is the advantages and disadvantages of implenting ILP system in Manipur .

To my opinion , It is a must have system for the sack of the people of Manipur. If this is not implemented at the earliest , Manipur Will not remain for Manipur ..

With ILP , atleast we will have some control/idea about the inflow & outflow of the peoples

Who Cares :

All the Big guns are busy preparing for election. The people of Manipur Doesn’t Give a Damn …
Nobody shouts, cries or says anything about the ongoing Blockade.
Everybody is the state is busy sitting idle.

This is Sanaliepak , there is no other place like our sanaleipak in this world.

So, Why ILP , Forget it and just enjoy your Day …. beside the world is gonna end next year 2012.

Have a good day

Ahhmmm

I agree with mike’s thinking. But still , somebody has to do something or else we all will be doomed.

Why is Manipur goverment taking such a long time to implement the system.

Its implemented in almost all the states of north eastern states. Having a look at the recent census report of manipur , it is high time for the govt of manipur to take some intiative.

So far nothing has been done by the govt of manipur.

@ZK

Stop being childish….
It’s easy procedure:
All they have to do is approach their own home state govt and the rest of the work(such as contacting Manipur Govt) will be done by their concern home state Govt…..
