Economic Blockade: The only means of getting DEMANDS in Manipur….

As far as my opinion is concerned, I guess nothing is available freely in Manipur except for Economic Blockade!!!

Economic Blockade has been considered as the only means to get some demands from the Govt whether admissible or not…

I thought over this issue again and again but unable to find the perfect way to get rid of this means of getting demand other than the fact that the party should try to understand the fact that this is against the law and nothing good will be obtained but they are causing the economic downfall for the whole state: Rich gets Richer; Poor gets Poorer.

It is just a means of giving pain to more than 27 Lakhs people of Manipur.

Even the Supreme Court of India had ordered that no economic blockade is permitted in the India States, however I guess it won’t be considered into account in the hilly regions of Manipur!!!!! It’s really a sad to think like that, however it is true(I guess)!!!

So frenz, what do you all think about the present situation of Manipur in regards with the Economic Blockade in National Highways???

Can you find out any solution for this?

Any idea about the alternative means of getting demands other than Economic Blockade in National Highways?

Any useful methods from below:
1. Sit in Protest
2. Hunger Strike
3. Mass Rally
4. Cease Work
5. Peace Talk
6. JAC
7. State Wide Bandh
8. Organizing seminar on the topic
9. Street play
10. Self Improvement
11. …. any other method you would like to suggest?

Please try to illustrate your opinion as much as possible since this is what we really need at the moment.

Thanks

Sit in Protest: Govt won’t consider it, it’s just a waste of time
Hunger Strike: Don’t worry, you will be nose feed like Sharmila :(
Mass Rally: You will have to face tear gas and rubber bullets…
Cease Work: More people will suffer like we have been suffering from lack of water and electricity recently..
Peace Talk: Not a singular peace result will come out of the peace hall…
JAC: It’s a means of starting your own bizzz…
State Wide Bandh: More people will come out of their house specially to see the bandh… most funny :)
Organizing Seminar on the topic: No one will participate in the seminar (poor don’t have time; rich don’t like)
Street play: People won’t consider the entire meaning/theme of the play; it’s just for fun… :|
Self Improvement: People are not ready to reshape their thought…!!!

I feel pity about the present situation of Manipur; but I am sad to think that their is no other means to get rid of Economic Blockade in the National Highwayss…. :(

I too think the Newspapers need to change some of their styles in publishing their papers…

What do you think before reading the news headline of a day?
What do you expect from the newspaper on the twilight?
Did any of you have ever dream of getting good news from your daily paper?

Before reading the newspaper, everybody would think who will be found death/ who is lose again/ any news about bandh and blockade? etc etc…

We have stop hoping anything good news from the paper! Why?
Coz it is the way the news get published! They never publish anything good as their headlines!

If you ever read one of the most leading newspaper in manipur(I won’t mention the name here); then you would see that 60% of the paper has been printed with Ads; 10% with editorial columns; and the remaning 30% with the news…..

I know this is Manipur; and papers had to publish the news whether good or not…. and this is how they make news…. I am not blaming the editors and reporters but I would really like to read some funny and happy news rather than news related with killing, raping, torture, etc etc.

Nowadays, we can’t hope anything from the papers but when you are in need of buying a new cell phone, then plz do check the papers for cell ads..

@Thoibi,

I guess you better should not blame the papers!!!

It’s their duty to collect news and other stuffss…

Ads is the only source of their living….

What do you think selling a mere paper worth Rs.3 would be sufficient enough to pay their reporters???

And you can’t say that papers never publish good news, they do publish good news….

I agree that most often the news are worst; but it is coz nothing good happen in Manipur only getting worst day by day….
